1977 BMW 630 CSi Coupe Restoration 4spd Manual

1977 BMW 630 CSi "Sharknose" Coupe. Fresh ground up restoration unmolested original example. This early production (1975-1979) model retains its rare and unique back seat headrests, front and rear bumper extensions and correct wheels. It is one of less than 1500 produced with a manual 4 speed transmission.     Standard features include power side mirrors, computer controlled fuel injection, independent rear suspension, power windows,  air conditioning, power steering and brakes. Equipped with optional correct Becker Europa am/fm radio in perfect working order. Also rarely seen NOMO? wood steering wheel.    Has been disassembled down to a bare body shell. Every part has been rebuilt, restored and/or replaced. Much NOS BMW factory parts. Some pieces are original to the car; like the mirrors, emblems and taillights. All better than NOS. The entire interior is also original to this car. Each interior component( plastic, vinyl, leather, rug) has been restored to original colors using custom formulated dyes.    Was light yellow exterior, now resprayed in base coat/ clear coat BMW period correct Merillot. Engine and trans tested and evaluated against factory specs; no rebuild required. But all gaskets, hoses, sensors, belts etc. replaced. New alternator, water pump, fuel pump, fuel regulator, injectors, clutch and timing chain. New front windshield and gaskets/seals.  A/C not recharged. Compressor was bench tested, excellent condition. NOS dryer and belt.
