1976 Cadillac Eldorado Original 2183 Miles Pristine

1976 Cadillac Eldorado This particular car was one of the ones that was put away for many many years and not driven very much.  In the years since 1976 this car has only traveled 2183 miles.  It still has the state inspection sticker on it from 1985 showing 1669 miles! Everything on this car is the way you would expect a low mileage car to be.  The biggest "tell" that this is a low mileage car is the condition of the steering wheel.  The wood inlay on the Cadillac steering wheels was always very fragile and always cracks and falls out of the steering wheel.  That is why so many Cadillac have leather or vinyl steering wheel wraps on them.  It is absolutely mint. The car starts right up and idles very smoothly.  Floats down the road like it should.  It is just a fantastic car to drive. The following is a list of what has recently been done to the car: New correct radiator New correct heater core Rebuild of original carburetor  Replace master cylinder Replace all 4 calipers Replace all brake hoses Replace belts Rebuilt power antennae Rebuild convertible top motor New correct whitewall American Classic tiresAll bumper fillers are replaced and professionally painted and installed.The paint on the car is completely original Firethorn Red.  It does have a few small scratches and imperfections but for a car that is 47 years old the paint is about an 8.5 on a 1-10 scale.  The convertible top is perfect with no cracking on the binding, rear window is excellent and of course no imperfections on the top.The bumpers and all of the brightwork is gorgeousThe radio and speakers function like new as does the 8-track.The interior on this car is magnificent!  The leather seats are breathtaking as well as the door panels, carpet and convertible top.If you look at the photos of the interior you can see that the door panels are all original including the upper panels.  The puckered effect vinyl cannot be duplicated and this car has all 4 upper pads in perfect condition and they are still soft.  If you are familiar with these cars you already know how hard it is to find the upper door panels and upper rear panels in perfect condition.The car is loaded with all of the standard options plus:Parade boot Automatic door locks (when you put the car in drive they lock automatically and unlock when you use the interior door handle and the car is in Park)Security SystemTilt/telescopic wheelCruise controlRear defoggerDual comfort seats, full power on driver's and passenger seats
