1995 Land Rover Defender 110 Tithonus

This is a 1995 ex Ministry of Defense Defender 110 Tithonus soft top. It shows in great detail the condition of the vehicle, inside and out, running and driving. Originally stationed overseas in warm dry climates. So the chassis is in fantastic condition, along with the doors, footwells, bulkhead and rear crossmember. The factory 2.5 12J NA diesel was removed and replaced with a rebuilt 200Tdi, which runs fantastic. The soft top is original, and has spent most of its life rolled up, so the top is more faded than the sides. The drivers side rear corner of the soft top has come off. It still closes completely, but there is an air gap in that corner where it would normally overlap. Gearbox is solid with no grinding or clunking in gear changes. Transfer case is the low ratio case which is great for off road use and around town, top speed is around 65-70. Cruises comfortably at 60 mph. Roll cage is the Safety Devices cage which was originally installed for military use and is full length. Steering, brakes, clutch, suspension are all working properly and do not need repair. 16" steel wolf wheels, on Michelin XZL's with 75% tread. Great truck, runs and drives fantastic
