In 1960 Ferrari introduced the Ferrari California Spyder. With its elegant design ,front engine v12 and open-air driving experience it was an instant hit among North America's wealthy and the Hollywood elite. The new California represented some firsts for Ferrari. The California was the first ever front-mounted V8 Ferrari , it's the first use of direct injection in a Ferrari and it is Ferrari's first dual-clutch automated manual transmission. Even though the California was marketed as a grand tourer it's V8 produced 454hp with an impressive top speed of 193MPH and 0-60 of just under 4seconds ...which puts it among some super car times. The California also featured a fully automatic retractable hardtop and looked great with the top up or down.
This particular California is a 2010 three owner car with a clean car-fax and solid service history. The current owner(third owner) acquired the car in August of 2013 with a little over 6,000 miles showing on the odometer.
The exterior is Grigio Silverstone Metallic with Cuoio Diamond stitch leather. This color combo is absolutely stunning and really gives the California an elegant ,luxurious feel that a grand touring convertible should have.
