1968 Porsche 912 complete restoration 914 stroker 38500 Miles
Recently it went through a complete restoration All new suspension brakes bushings tires interior and restored gauges The engine is a modified Porsche 914 stroker 2,84liter. It has Porsche 911 cooling fan set up and has a duel Weber 48 IDF carburetors . I eliminated the old distributor all together The ignition is a CB performance crank triggered electronic ignition with tunable computer. It has a waste spark system with individual coils. This car has an AC unite that blows cold air For heat I used a German made Webasto Gasoline heater that is controlled by a computer I have many more photos of the car d videos of the engine running The YouTube link to engine first start The engine isolation is properly fasten into the engine room now
The motor mount was purchased from LN engineering. the mount was specifically designed to transplant any type 4 engine into a Porsche 912. the transmission uses OEM mounts Also this car has a external oil cooler which was mounted under the left rear quarter panel. It also has a thermostatically controlled fan.
