This 1958 Chevrolet Impala is a beautifully restored, tastefully upgraded 2 door hardtop that is ready for some serious summer cruising. When the Impala debuted in 1958, it was the top trim level for Chevrolet and was actually an option package for the Bel Air which was the top-of-the-line model that year (it wasn't until the following year that the Impala was spun off to be its own standalone model). From the entry-level Del Ray to its brand-new top-of-the-line Impala, Chevrolet completely redesigned the look across all of its passenger cars in 1958. The new '58 Chevys were "lower, wider [and] longer" and were touted as such in Chevrolet's 1958 marketing materials.
