1971 Volkswagen Deluxe Sunroof Bus Kansas Beige and Pastel White
1971 Volkswagen Deluxe Sunroof Bus, our family purchased the bus from the Original Owners. It was built September 28th 1970. It’s our understanding Volkswagen made very few buses with the special order Sunroof option.

~ Re-Painted sometime in the 1980’s
~ Always a California bus
~ 91k Miles
~ Recently serviced
~ Has both Blue Original California plates
~ First year Factory front disc brakes
~ Factory upright 1600cc engine
~ Very reliable / Runs Great
~ Transmission shifts and works Great
~ Am-FM Radio
~ New Wolfsburg German Front seat covers
~ New correct German Front seat padding
~ Has all three seats, with complete interior
~ Heater works great
~ (1) Key works all the doors as it should.
Note: The Sunroof will need cables, and or rebuilding / servicing prior to use, as of now it’s inoperable.
~ In Closing ~
This is a unrestored ‘71 Deluxe Sunroof Bus thats 50 years old, its been driven, and enjoyed throughout the past decades. It’s has not been restored. It has a few dents and small rust bubbles, along with paint chips throughout.
The new owner can enjoy it as is with its current blemishes, or completely restore it.
We just went on a 150 mile family road trip and the bus performed great.
