This 1967 Ford F-100 has a bit of a sleeper style to it. It has the look of a premium Ranger with the right amount of patina on the outside. So you may not initially realize it has a five-speed, fresh suspension, and a strong 390 V8 that has a direct connection to Holman Moody.

This one just looks like a good 'ol pickup. The classic black is complete, and it has aged to give it the beginning hints of patina. The same goes for the chrome bumpers. It's presented on a very straight and clean body that even retains its classic Ranger trim. The bed even looks like it had to empty its last load before coming to our dealership. And there's something quite cool about a classic that doesn't shy away from real work. But this one has little hints at its true aggression. After all, those red wheels not only look good, but also they are wrapped around some extra-wide tires. And it all sits on a lowered suspension.

The red on the wheels continues inside on the carpeting, dash, and bench seat. It has a quality feel that makes this pickup a nice place to spend some time. There's even an upgraded retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with aux input for better driving music. But while you'll feel comfortable, your senses are also telling you something else. The upgraded AutoMeter SportComp readouts, cue ball floor shifter, and AutoMeter Monster tach prominently sitting on top of the dash all let you know there's something special under the hood.

The engine bay has dark inner walls to really funnel your attention to the polished V8 heart in the middle. Not only do you have a large 390 cubic-inch motor, but also this was built by a true master: Walt Pierce - an original engine builder at Holman Moody. The famous race shop never messed around when it came to serious performance, and that's why this powerhouse is built right with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Weiand intake, and Doug's headers feeding into the dual exhaust. This is also built with the right supporting pieces, like a separate trans cooler, an oil cooler, and a full MSD ignition package. It's a big power setup, and you have complete control thanks to the upgraded five-speed manual transmission that feeds the stout 9-inch rear end. As you look underneath, you'll see fresh components on the twin I-beam front end, power steering, and drilled and slotted front disc brakes.
