1966 Jaguar E-Type Roadster Convertible XKE
This 1966 E Type has just returned from the restoration shop. They completely dismantled the SR1 and every piece was checked and repaired as necessary with almost every painted and coated component being stripped and repainted or coated. The E-Type was masterfully repainted in the original Pale Primrose Yellow. The body is straight and clean with no scratches or dints at all. The chrome is all original and in great shape so I did not have them re-chromed. All of the body weatherstripping is new high quality rubber. The interior received a makeover with new Black Leather upholstery from England, new door panels, new carpet, new dash pad, more comfortable seat cushions, new black convertible top, and more . The rear end and brakes were just rebuilt. Restoration is high quality, not concours, but you will smoke the other cars at most classic car shows.
