1972 Pontiac Lemans Convertible, 350 V8 Engine, Automatic Transmission, GTO Rear Spoiler, Bucket Seats and Center Console, On Hood Tachometer, Great Looking Car. 3 Generation (1968 - 72) GM A-bodied car, with a Pontiac 350. Each division’s 350 engine was their own, no parts interchanged. The top V-8 for the Lemans was a 320-hp version. Pontiac stuck to performance & speed. Speed was king, and Pontiac was often at the top beating all the competition. Emissions equipment and lower compression started to take its toll along with onerous rate increases, the end of the muscle car era was in sight. Any of the Lemans cars from this era are highly collectible, as they are the same body as the GTO’s, just a different trim package.
